Celtic ‘keeper Joe Hart has emerged as a key asset to the team in recent weeks. His performances in matches against Ross County, Aberdeen, and Hibernian have played a critical part in keeping The Bhoys where they are in the league.
He seems to have taken his game up a notch over the past few weeks and months, with the veteran coming to the fore in the final months of his current Celtic deal.
Particularly away at Pittodrie, his saves prevented the Hoops from losing the game by two, or potentially even three, goals to one. He was also called into action a few times in Leith and has emerged as a reliable, leading outlet between the sticks of late.
The experience he holds is invaluable, but so too are some of his attributes. Indeed, star Bayern Munich and England striker Harry Kane picked out Hart’s mad side when building his perfect footballer: “Craziness? I’ll go Joe Hart”, he said (11teamsports on TikTok).

Particularly in his younger years, the Englishman seemed to have an unhinged side to him. As he has matured, though, he has become somewhat mellowed, for his standards at least, on the park.
Off it, his mental personality is still visible, particularly when Celtic win a trophy and he is central to the celebrations. As the current season comes to a close, the number one will be hoping he can headline a fair few more scenes of jubilation.
