Former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou is rumoured to be in consideration for the managerial position at Liverpool.

This speculation comes in the wake of Jurgen Klopp’s announcement that he will be stepping down as Liverpool’s manager at the end of the season.
Since moving to Spurs from Celtic in the summer, Postecoglou has made a significant impact, transforming the North London club’s playing style and overall atmosphere. Under his guidance, Spurs have become known for their attractive football, with the team currently competing for a spot in next season’s Champions League thanks to their strong performances in the league.
The potential managerial switch was hinted at by Andy Maher on SEN 1116, where he revealed, “Ange Postecoglou’s agent has formally received an invitation to discuss his potential interest in the Liverpool managerial position.”
The Australian coach’s potential move to Liverpool would mark another significant milestone in his career, which has seen a meteoric rise since his days in the A-League and J-League, followed by his successful stint at Celtic, where he won five trophies in two years.
Taking over from a figure as prominent as Klopp, who has led Liverpool to numerous domestic and international successes, including the Premier League and Champions League titles, would undoubtedly be a massive step for Postecoglou.
It’s his boyhood club too, which would make it even harder to say no to, so it’s definitely one to keep an eye on over the coming months.
