Their efforts gained international attention when their support of Palestine landed Celtic a UEFA fine for displaying, a moment that led to a significant fundraising initiative in support of Palestinian causes.
Recognising the connection, Deportivo Palestino took to social media to announce the release of the “Green Brigade” kit. Their message was clear and poignant: “Love for Palestine crosses borders. From Chile to Scotland, and from Scotland to Ramallah, Beit Jala, or Gaza. Palestino and the Green Brigade.”
