“Are We Done?” Listen as Brendan Rodgers Storms Out of BBC Interview

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers displayed a moment of frustration during a post-match interview following Celtic’s triumphant 3-1 victory over Motherwell at Fir Park.

While Rodgers expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance and their ability to overturn a first-half deficit, the conversation took a turn when the subject of media narratives surrounding his squad was broached.

Rodgers, who has previously voiced concerns over what he perceives as a predetermined story being crafted about Celtic’s resolve and ambition in the title race, reiterated his belief in the squad’s capabilities.

He said: “I’m delighted for the players because like I’ve said, there’s a story been written about this group, so we will write our own story.”

However, the atmosphere tensed when BBC reporter Jane Lewis pressed Rodgers for further details on his comments about the narrative surrounding Celtic. Rodgers, clearly unwilling to delve into specifics, quickly shut down the line of questioning with a terse, “No, no. You know exactly what I mean. No.”

Lewis’s persistence in seeking clarification only led to Rodgers’s abrupt departure from the interview. “Okay, are we done? Well done, good girl, cheers,” he said, ending the exchange and leaving the interview.
