Celtic striker Adam Idah has made quite the impact in Glasgow since moving North of the border from English Championship side Norwich City.
Although he missed a pivotal penalty away at Hearts on Sunday that would have altered the trajectory of the game had he scored, the positives of his move thus far have outweighed the negatives.
Across seven Hoops appearances in all competitions, the Irish frontman has scored five goals and assisted another. Any doubts over his signing have been swiftly washed away by his contributions.
Celtic supporters have been left pleasantly surprised with the impact Idah has made in Glasgow, and it seems as though his parent club have been left equally as shocked.

RecordSport journalist Michael Gannon recently spoke on the RecordCeltic podcast and admitted that those at the Canaries have been taken aback by Idah’s antics: “I think Idah has grabbed his chance, big time”, he said.
“He’s surprised everybody. I mean people you speak to down at Norwich are also surprised that he started so well.”
The 23-year-old has impressed as much in Glasgow that some Celtic fans have called for him to be signed permanently upon the expiration of his loan. There is no option to buy included in it but given his contributions so far, it would be no surprise if the club attempted to keep him.
Few would be against such a move regardless of his miss on Sunday because in Scotland so far, the number nine has made a key difference in some pivotal matches, arguably keeping Celtic in the title race.
