Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has offered a strong endorsement of Adam Idah, the Ireland striker on loan from Norwich City, predicting he will demonstrate his international quality during his time with the Scottish club.

Idah, whose move to Celtic initially stirred mixed reactions among fans, made an immediate impact on his debut by assisting Nicolas Kuhn in Saturday’s match against Aberdeen.
Rodgers, who has had the opportunity to closely observe Idah’s abilities in training, voiced his enthusiasm about the striker’s potential contribution to Celtic. Despite Idah’s fluctuating experiences at Norwich, Rodgers sees a player with the attributes necessary to excel at the highest levels of football.
He highlighted Idah’s comprehensive skill set, including his finishing and speed as factors that could significantly benefit Celtic in the coming months.
“Adam, I’m really excited about,” Rodgers told Celtic TV.
“Having seen him play and now seeing him for a few days, working with him and speaking with him – the ability that he has in incredible really.
“He has every tool you want to play at the very highest level. Clearly, he’s doing that at international level and it’s been a wee bit hit or miss for him at Norwich.
“But when I assess him and see him in training, we see the finishing, we see the speed, we see the touch. I’m excited what he can bring us over the next [few months.”
The striker gives Rodgers the option to change things up formation-wise, as he did at the weekend with Kyogo playing off the Irishman.
