Celtic fell to a surprising 2-0 defeat to Hearts at Tynecastle.
Despite a decent start to the game for the Hoops, which saw Yang Hyun-jun winning Celtic a penalty in the 11th minute after a challenge from Alex Cochrane, Adam Idah missed the spot kick, marking the beginning of just over half an hour of madness in the first half.

Only five minutes later, Yang was sent off after a VAR review of a challenge on Cochrane, leading to referee Don Robertson changing his decision from initially booking Yang.
40 minutes into the game, Robertson would be sent to the monitor again to review an apparent Tomoki Iwata handball, which he then gave, with Jorge Grant giving Hearts the lead from the penalty spot.
Hearts were then denied a second goal in the first half after Lawrence Shankland was ruled offside when Tomoki Iwata was dispossessed while in possession for Celtic.
The Edinburgh side would find a second goal in 56th minute in the second half through Shankland after the Hearts skipper played a through ball to Calem Niewenhof, who stumbled and fell, but then the ball pinged back to Shankland, who made no mistake.
With Rangers losing 2-1 to Motherwell yesterday, Celtic had the chance to go top today and improve their goal difference.
However, after defeat today, the Hoops ultimately gained no points or goal difference on Rangers.
In what was undoubtedly a huge chance for Brendan Rodgers and Celtic to go top and make a real statement, they fell short in yet another disappointing performance, which has been the story of the Hoops’ season so far.
