Former Celtic right-back and now pundit Mark Wilson was left impressed by Nicolas Kuhn in the Hoops’ 4-2 Scottish Cup win over Livingston on Sunday.
The German attacker came into the team in place of the suspended Yang Hyun-jun and put in an admirable performance.
Kuhn continually looked to take on his man and he floated a wonderful ball into the box from which Daizen Maeda netted The Bhoys’ opener in the first half.

It feels as though yesterday’s game was the first time the January arrival showed his true self to the fans. He made a few starts and cameos previously, but he was yet to impress.
At the weekend, however, he took the bull by the horns and Wilson was taken aback. Speaking post-match on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, he outlined how much of a momentum-builder the game could be for Kuhn: “Players, they all go on confidence”, he said.
“There is no doubt about Kuhn, he’s taken a wee bit of time to get going.
“On today’s performance is what we’re judging him, he looks a player.
“He’ll take great confidence from that and wingers and front players especially rely on that [confidence] a bit more.
“He can be happy with his day’s work and he got a great ovation coming off.”
Next weekend when St. Johnstone come to Parkhead, Kuhn – if fit – will likely get the nod once more.
Yang remains suspended for the clash and if his fellow wide-man can continue on Saturday where he left off yesterday, he will face some stiff composition when he is available again.
