‘Isn’t there’ – Pundit Claims Rangers Have Upper Hand Over Poor Celtic Connection

Willie Miller has observed a burgeoning feel-good factor at Ibrox, a sentiment he finds lacking at Celtic Park.

Speaking on the Scottish Football Podcast, Miller noted, “There just seems to be a connection between the Rangers players and the Rangers fans that I haven’t seen for many, many years, and I don’t think that’s the same at Celtic just now. There’s a kind of atmosphere at Celtic Park where they’re not enjoying it as much; the connection isn’t there.”

He further expressed concerns about the atmosphere within Celtic, saying, “I don’t know, but Brendan Rodgers doesn’t seem to be that enthusiastic about what he’s trying to do this season, at times, whereas I think that Clemente is super enthusiastic.”

Despite Rangers displaying their strongest form in years, they find themselves only level on points with Celtic. The unrest at Celtic appears to be directed more towards the board than the players or the management. A significant portion of the Celtic support believes that the board has failed to adequately support the manager and the team, leading to a tighter title race than expected three months ago.

Suggesting Brendan Rodgers isn’t that interested is going the Celtic manager a great disservice.

This situation highlights an Ibrox team performing at its peak while Celtic seems to be struggling, yet nothing separates them in the standings at present. This suggests that even a modest level of consistency from Celtic could be sufficient to retain the title, setting the stage for an intriguing contest ahead.
