Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi came off the bench in the Hoops’ 4-2 win over Livingston on Sunday, sealing the victory late on after latching onto James Forrest’s header.
The Japanese centre-forward made a positive impact on the game, remaining lively up top.
Although he has been pushed onto the bench by Adam Idah in recent weeks, Kyogo more than presented his case for a start in his cameo at the weekend.

He has now posted on both his Instagram and X accounts this morning, issuing a message to the Celtic fans. The centre forward said that he wants to ‘continue to grow’ as he thanked the Parkhead faithful for their support:
This season, there is no denying that Kyogo hasn’t hit the dizzy heights he did in 2022/23. Slight tweaks in the team’s play style and a general transitional period for the club have contributed to such a happening.
His goal versus Livi was only his fourteenth of the campaign to date, but he will be hoping it can catalyse a hot streak of scoring ahead of a crucial run-in.
